Nah. No skill involved. Like anything, it simply took patience and practice.

Some simply caught on faster then others. I was one of those but didn't make my goal in time. Currently r6 LB, only 3k away from r7, wanted r8... This all took place in under 2 days. I do wish i had time to hit r8...

But all in all, it WAS an exploit and all of us scheming LB AFK farmers knew it was coming lol!! I only enjoyed it for a couple days but MY how i enjoyed it! Zoomed from r2 to r6 quite fast... a couple nights and a few hours here and there. Wanna know the funny part?....

I found out about this by accident! I had gone afk in a zone to make lunch and came back seeing my henchy/hero party bashing on 4 spear of torments and 1 Scythe. Apparantly they had taken out a whole mob patrol and they decided to leave the spear till last, with all the degen we had the spears kept spawning. So i went on GwG and used the godly SEARCH feature and found that juicy LB thread with tons of details on ways to farm multiple groups of Spear of Torments... Man how excited i was! First time i went out got 2 groups setup, after that i went for more and more groups... hehe... Ah the good ol' days, i'll miss em.

Ok boys! On to the next exploit!!
cheers!

So far, the best bet seems to be the wossname area where do All alone in the dark quest.
Domain of Secrets is nice, huge number of Margonites and a forgotten right outside the gate of secrets.

Well, I'm at just over 2500 LB points, gained fair and square chomping Djinn and Roaring Ethers (I may have been AFK sometime, but only because my dear heroes and henchmen could get the group without my aid), and damn proud of it!

I got my first 100 points killing Crags and Lands in the Dejarin estates, THAT was hard work

I was doing it the old fashioned way, since I can't really leave my comp AFK for long periods of time. Good riddance.

Wow, Anet excels at screwing over their customers. So the few people who took advantage of the exploit now have a permanent in game advantage over those that didn't (especially with this upcoming weekend) and now its impossible for other players to do the same. I say either leave it the way it was, or reset everyone's lightbringer titles down to zero to make it fair. This is a real issue as lightbringer ranks actually change the balance in the game. It would be like adding weapons in the game that do extra damage then suddenly taking them away so that future people couldn't get them but not doing anything about the old weapons. 40% extra damage to be exact.

Lightbringer Procession - Note: AFK Farming/Exploit Has been Removed

Having two threads to talk about the same thing is redundant. Closed.
